When Democratic candidates turn over campaign staff, it tends to be in response to "infighting", "deep divisions" and "backbiting" over the sorry state of their campaign. When John McCain replaces his campaign manager, the Politico tells us he's giving the new guy "a battlefield promotion to commanding general." Awesome!
