Welcome

The title of this blog probably goes a little too far: it's not entirely dedicated to my beloved New York Mets. I just kind of liked the double-entendre, being an amateur poker player and all. It will, however, be almost exclusively baseball related, and the analysis will be served "straight," with neither the ice of conventional wisdom nor the chaser of equivocation.
