Not generally a fan of Slate’s political coverage generally or Fred Kaplan in particular, but I am very happy to see pieces like this which call attention to the fact that that Rudy Giuliani is a preposterous fraud.

Just wanted to say that I'm glad you're back. I bookmark tabs in Firefox, and during the time of your absence I never removed Straight Flushing from my lineup of Mets blogs -- it was a reminder each day of what's truly important: adherence by the U.S. Government to the U.S. Constitution, for example.
The new content compromise is excellent -- a perfect bridge between TPM, Kos, Tom Watson (an A1 Mets fan), Oliver Willis, et al, and Brooklyn Mets Fan, MetsGrrrrl, etc.
I read, but rarely post on, blogs, but I wanted to say that you've been missed, and that I'm pleased as heck that you're back.
